Cats 🐱 and Cucumbers 🥒 Video - Cats Reacting to Cucumbers

One of the funniest things you can find on the internet is a cats and cucumbers video. Yes, that’s right, there are literally videos of cats reacting to cucumbers, and these cats are freaked out!

When you think about the things that scare cats, you normally think big barking dogs. Sometimes it’s getting a bath, or going to the vet. However, you wouldn’t think that most cats have cucumber phobia! As you will see, these videos show that cats and cucumbers not get along but also that you can really see cats getting scared of this innocent vegetable. Some of these cats even leap away at the mere sight of a cucumber.

It makes you wonder why cats get scared of cucumbers because they are normal looking vegetables. It has no strong odor and your average cucumber is a dull green color. Maybe it’s a defensive animal instinct that is programmed in a cat to help it against predators but you can hardly think of any predator that looks like a cucumber. Unless there used to be a short green snake that became extinct a long time ago.

Perhaps a long time ago, cucumbers were associated with some things that scare cats like a poisonous plant or some sort of worm or leech. One thing is for sure, put a cucumber in a cat’s path and be ready with your camera because you’ll have tons of scared cat videos recorded in no time.

Even the bossiest of cats are no match for this unassuming green vegetable.
