The way we construct our extruders is designed with the best filament outcome in mind. Sometimes this means a process that isn't entirely straightforward and so during cleaning, maintenance or simply changing parts, damage can be done to the machines if these processes of dismantling and reconstructing are not done meticulously.

We have recorded a very short demonstration of what we have found to be a problem area with our Touch and Xcalibur extruders - so that you can maintain the perfect working order of your machine.

The olive washer is an important part of how the thermocouple is connected with the nozzle part, and all parts need to be handled and tightened in the right order for everything to run smoothly.
