Hi friends, in this video we are discussing about how to deposit amount in NPS account using virtual ID. If you are a NPS customer and you have activated NPS account virtual account number then you can easily do NPS contribution through virtual account.

In this video you can also see how to transfer money to NPS account from sbi bank. Because of I have already added the NPS virtual account number to SBI internet banking beneficiary list. If you wish to know how to transfer money to NPS account online then watch this video till end or follow the following steps.

First of all you need to create NPS virtual Id and then add this virtual account number in NPS net banking. The video links will be found at the end of this description. You can add it to other bank also. But as I have the SBI account so I have described the process through SBI net banking.

1. Go to SBI internet Banking login page and log in using your internet banking Id and password.

2. After login to your account click on the option 'payments/transfer',

3. A new page will open where you will see some options. Click on the option 'other bank transfer.

4. Three transfer options will be displayed NEFT, RTGS and IMPS.

5. Select the NEFT option and click on 'proceed'.

6. In this page select your debited account number, enter the amount to be transferred then select a purpose as 'deposit/ investment' from the drop down box. After select the purpose select the your NPS account from the list of beneficiary. Accept the terms and conditions. Then select the option 'pay now' and click on 'submit'.

7. Now you need to confirm your entered details. Check the details you have entered in the above steps. If all is OK then click on 'confirm'.

8. An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number with bank. Enter the OTP and click on 'confirm'.

9. Now your transfer is successful. Your amount will be reflect to your NPS account within 24 hours.
