How to Install a SIM Card to Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7

⮕ Step 1: Power Off the Device
Before inserting or removing the SIM card, press and hold the Power button, then tap Power off to shut down your Galaxy Z Fold 7 completely.

⮕ Step 2: Locate the SIM Tray
The SIM card tray is located on the left edge of the device when folded.
Use a flashlight if needed to identify the small pinhole.

⮕ Step 3: Eject the SIM Tray
Insert the SIM ejector tool (provided in the box) into the pinhole and press gently until the SIM tray pops out slightly.

⮕ Step 4: Place the SIM Card on the Tray
• Remove the SIM tray completely.
• Place your nano-SIM card into the tray — make sure the gold contacts face down and the cut-off corner aligns with the tray.
• If using a dual SIM variant, refer to SIM 1 and SIM 2 labels.

⮕ Step 5: Reinsert the Tray Carefully
Slide the tray back into the phone gently and evenly, ensuring it is fully inserted and flush with the device.

⮕ Step 6: Power On the Device
Press and hold the Power button until the Samsung logo appears.

⮕ Step 7: Confirm SIM Card Detection
Once powered on, your device should automatically detect the SIM card. You may see signal bars and a carrier name in the status bar.
If prompted, enter the SIM PIN (if one is set by your carrier).

✅ You have now successfully installed a SIM card on your Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7.
