The Alpine A390 is an all-electric sport fastback unveiled on May 27, 2025, marking the second model in Alpine's "Dream Garage" lineup of EVs. It's designed to blend Alpine's racing DNA with versatility for everyday use.

All-Electric Powertrain: The A390 features three electric motors (one front, two rear), creating an all-wheel-drive system, a first for Alpine.
Performance:
GT version: 400 hp, 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 4.8 seconds, top speed of 200 km/h (124 mph).
GTS version: 470 hp and 808 Nm of torque, 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 3.9 seconds, top speed of 220 km/h (137 mph).
It also features an "Overtake" boost function for short bursts of additional power.
Alpine Active Torque Vectoring: This new system actively distributes torque between the rear wheels, enhancing dynamism, safety, and agility.
Range and Charging:
Equipped with an 89 kWh battery.
Offers a WLTP range of up to 555 km (approx. 345 miles).
DC fast charging can reach 190 kW, allowing a recharge from 15% to 80% in under 25 minutes. It also supports bidirectional V2G (vehicle-to-grid) charging.

Design and Dimensions:
Described as a "racing car in a suit," it has a distinctive fastback silhouette with aerodynamic efficiency.
Features a helmet visor-shaped rear window and "Cosmic Dust" triangular front lighting.
Compact for its class: 4.615 m long, 1.885 m wide, and 1.532 m high, with a wheelbase of 2.708 m.
Boot capacity of 532 liters.
Interior and Technology:
Five-seat interior with a driver-oriented cockpit.
Features 12.3-inch and 12-inch high-definition screens, Nappa leather, and a Devialet audio system.
Includes Alpine Telemetrics for driving data and coaching.
Runs on Android Automotive with Google Automotive Services.
Physical climate controls are retained.
Driving Experience:
Engineers focused on delivering Alpine's signature agility by overhauling the AmpR Medium platform.
Features a low center of gravity and an ideal weight distribution of 49% front and 51% rear.
Bespoke Michelin tires co-developed for optimal grip and range.
Five driving modes: Save, Normal, Sport, Perso, and Track.
Adjustable regenerative braking and Alpine Drive Sound for audible feedback.
Manufacturing: Designed and manufactured in France, with engines from Cléon and Verkor batteries produced in Dunkirk and assembled in Dieppe.
Availability: Orders are expected to open in Q4 2025. It will be available in GT and GTS trim packages, with an "Alpine A390 Première" edition for initial buyers.
