Pebeo Mixed Media No Drip Vitrail Painting with Tristina

Watch as I show you how to use the Pebeo Vitrail No Drip Medium with Vitrail colors to paint the sides of a canvas.

Pebeo Vitrail is a gorgeous stained glass effect paint that can be used on just about any non-porous surface (e.g. glass, metal, plexiglass, stretched canvas) or porous surface covered in acrylic paint or mediums. This liquid oil paint is runny like olive oil, so it likes to be painted on a flat level surface.

Sometimes I need to paint it on a curved or vertical surface, so the Vitrail No Drip Medium can be added to thicken the Vitrail paint colors.

HINT 1: Cover your work area with plastic and assure you have good ventilation when working with liquid oil paints.

HINT 2: Mix the paints and mediums well before using. You can use an oil paint brush or plastic dropper to put the paints just where you want them.

HINT 3: Clean up Pebeo's liquid oil paints with Mineral Spirits. If you are cleaning a plastic dropper with mineral spirits, cover the tip of the dropper with a finger as you tip the end up, otherwise, mineral spirits sprays everywhere!
