It’s a golf channel but I play(ed) almost every sport.. I used to shoot either 100 free throws or 3s for Practice , but I when I went to rehab I began shooting 100 free throws once or twice a day or so.. it turned into something completely different to me. I began using it as mental training and a type of meditation

Here are the benefits lessons it can give you from a mental and/or athletic standpoint

-muscle memory
- routine and patience .. personally I don’t have a routine and allow myself to go at whatever pace is natural.. but if I’m speeding up for sake of not caring and getting the 💯 over with. That’s what I’m trying not to do
- finish what you started
- don’t give up/always set new goals/bar (for instance in this video I began at a very poor pace my first 40 or so but didn’t give up focused and got a number relatively close to my perceived average …
-containing anger /frustration .. when I miss a couple or a large amount in a short time I would rage. ,’and still do.. but I work on containing it and focusing even more going forward.. I play golf and use this mentality
- keeping calm and not letting negative thoughts or a higher heart rate affect performance

for sports mostly in my life but surely it can apply in other situations … my ultimate goal is 90…(89 is my best ) and I always want to make 80 (roughly my average) or more…however almost every time I do this I experience nervousness and my heart rate rising as I approach whatever number I am trying for down the stretch. .. if I’m 75/95… I want to make all 5 of those and will feel it for all 5… pretending Every one is to ice an nba/final four championship … again golf has Heloed me within this. Future golf videos will have simulated pressure on golf shots that are not important whatsoever ..
