HH Swami Govind Dev Giri (Kishor Madangopal Vyas) born in 1949 in a pious Brahmin family at Belapur, a small village in Ahmednager district of Maharastra. After completing primary education in his native village, Acharyashri joined Tatvadnyan Vidyapeeth for further education in B.A.(Philosophy). The institute was founded by HH Pandurang Shastri Aathavale, founder of “Swadhyaya” the most revolutionary socio-religious movement.

HH Swami Ji went to Varanasi, the spiritual capital of India, for further studies and accomplished the coveted degree of ‘Darshanacharya’. During the course of study, he met the eminent spiritual personality Vedamoorti Dr.Vishwnathji Dev the renowned vedic scholar and inherited the vigorous and vast knowledge of ancient holy books.

HH Swamiji delivered the first religious discourse on SRIMAD BHAGWAT in his own native village at the very young age of 17 years.

HH swamiji makes deep study of the holy books of ancient India. Over a period of time and more than five decades, HH swamiji described The Srimad Bhagwat, Mahabhart, Ramayan, Dnyaneshwari , Dasbodh and Yog Vasishtha in a new modern era of the world and established that these books are not only the treasure of India but of the world. HH swamiji revealed the secrets of life, by quoting these holy books which are still relevant to the today’s modern age of science and technology.

Needless to mention that His Holiness with the deep approach of ancient holy books is not being recognized in our holy country India but by the entire world viz United States, Britain, Canada, Nepal and many -many more of world recognition countries.

Dedication and devotion of Swamji for society and Dharma was well recognized and the Paramacharya (Head Priest) of Kanchi Kamkoti Peeth not even blessed him but also predicted him to be the spiritual successor of HH late Dongareji Maharaj.

(Renouncement of the highest spiritual order) at the auspicious hands of HH Swami Satyamitranand Giriji at the holy place of Haridwar on the banks of river Ganga on Sunday, April 30, 2006. Following his Sanyas initiation he adorned a new name, Shri Govind Dev Giriji Maharaj. This initiation ceremony was held with the blessings of HH Shri Jayendra Saraswatiji, the chief of Kanchi Kamkoti Peeth.

Swamiji inspired by the life of Swami Vivekananda and believe in Vasudhev Kutumbakam. He does not have his own family. HH Swamiji deliver his messages through books as well as Audio/Video mediums, without the wish of being called as an eminent personality and does every aspect of his karma not for the sake of being popularity but purely for devotion to society.

The facts clearly establishes that after Swami Vivekanand Ji, HH Swami Govind Dev Giri Ji is the true disciple of VEd Sanskirti and has dedicated his life for the re-establishment of Vedas and spread the essence of Human values, Brotherhood, Dharma, Yoga, Vedic Education and Karma yoga to the entire society.
