📢 About the speakers 📢

Emily - I have been skydiving for about 10 years, I am an AFFI, CSI, TI and coach. I really enjoy teaching, coaching and helping people to progress in the sport but this year I have loved hearing and seeing more and more conversations about creating a more inclusive space for the whole skydiving community.

Lucy - I’ve been around the sport for over 20 years and enjoy competing in 4 & 8 way and coaching FS. As a neurospicy mum to a neurodiverse son whom I’ve advocated for over the years, I can truly see the benefit of looking at the world through a different lens and the benefits a bit of awareness around others' needs can make.

British Skydiving is the national governing body for sport parachuting in the United Kingdom and N. Ireland.

Skydiving is one of today’s most exciting sports. Dynamic and colourful, it offers mastery of the air and the freedom to make the skies your own!
Enjoyment, exhilaration and limitless challenge are available even to the absolute beginner. And at its highest level, skydiving is an intensely competitive sport which requires finely tuned skills, intimate knowledge of the air and perfect body control.

More people than ever are discovering for themselves the pure joy that freedom of the skies can bring. The majority of skydiving is done as fun jumping. It offers not only the enjoyment of the jumps but great opportunities to meet with friends and enjoy a wide range of social activities.
