I've had bad experiences with aftermarket plugs. A few extra bucks for OEM to have peace of mind is worth it IMO.

If you're having a hard time taking the coil pack connectors off, try to push the connector IN, lift the tab, then pull it off. Spraying some kind of evaporative cleaner might work as well. Be patient and don't break the clip.

I usually prefer to torque the spark plugs by hand because you can feel the gasket seat. Once the plug seats, it will feel tight... then suddenly feel loose for a fraction of a turn, and tight again. That's when you know you're fully seated properly. BE GENTLE.
