"It's important to nurture the people who are coming after you. It's vitally important to pass down. And I feel very strongly about that, you know, and so I love working with people who are just starting out so I can help them in any way at all. I mean, I don't know if I'm helpful or not, but, you know, it's important to support people who are just starting."

"I think if the music was a character, the music has a sense of humor, but can be intense at times. Yeah, it can get very emo at times. But I think that's also - it's a direct reflection of the tone of the movie. We were talking about this with someone else: music can make or break a movie, and that's why we're here and that's why we're so important."

Haim: "I mean, I got here yesterday. So, so far, it's just been a lot of drinking and a lot of food. You've been on the mountain.”
Stracey: ”Yeah, I've been on the mountain. To be honest, like, I've been snowboarding a lot. And that was very, very fun. I hit a tree - that was a highlight. I had a helmet on. I'm all right. I'm in one piece, but, yeah.”
Haim: ”I slipped and fell three times yesterday because I didn't bring the right shoes. No one tells you. No one tells you. It's icy here. I'm an L.A. girl. I was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley. We don't have snow. This is maybe my ninth time in snow in my entire life."

"Production designer Valeria, who is amazing. And she - Everybody, our prop master - everybody scoured the earth for, like, flip phones and those old box TVs and old box computers, and all the kids would run around set like they were in a museum or something. You know, like they hadn't seen any of these items. They've only seen photos of them. And so it was it was a lot of fun recreating that time, particularly all the technology."

"It's really not about that. You know, like the case that was going on at that time, because I was physically there, I was able to see everybody involved as a human being, you know. So because I was physically in the space where all these humans were. And so for me, this movie, my hope - my takeaway, is just to have empathy for everyone who's going through something so hard and there's no right or wrong way to grieve. And it's really a study on grief and not, you know, me trying to say, make a political message in any way."

"It was wonderful. I think all of us, we know how important that this story is to Laura, and we know how important that it is to do it justice.
