Today in this video we're going to show you how to remove the footer credit in WordPress Themes. In WordPress, you can change the footer credit very easily in few steps.
Follow the steps to remove the "Powered by WordPress" Footer Credit in WordPress Themes:
Step::1 Log in to your WordPress admin panel.
Step::2 In the left column navigation mouse over the “Plugins” link and click the “Add New” link.
Step::3 In the “Search plugins…” box, enter “Remove Footer Credit.”
Step::4 Once you have located the plugin, click the “Install Now” button.
Step::5 When the plugin has been installed, click the “Activate” button.
Step::6 Now visit your website from front-end and right click over anywhere and choose View Page Source option
Step::7 Search for "div class=footer credits" and copy the entire code
Step::8 Now go back to your WordPress admin panel and in the left column navigation, mouse over the “Tools” link and click the “Remove Footer Credit” link.
Step::9 Next you need to paste the code you copied into the Step 1 field
Step::10 In the “Step 2: Enter your own footer credit. In this example, I am simply putting “My Personal blog.”
Step::11 Finally Click the “Save” button.
Congratulations you have successfully Removed the "Powered by WordPress" Footer Credit in your WordPress Themes.
