We bring to you the story of Mussarat, a government school teacher in the district of Unnao, Uttar Pradesh who is dedicated to the cause of ensuring that all her students achieve grade-level skills in reading, writing & mathematics, also known as Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (#FLN) skills.

Mussarat has been further empowered in her resolve with the introduction of NIPUN Lakshya App (#NLApp), an easy-to-use app for assessment of student learning levels.

As a part of the #NIPUNBharatMission with the Department of Basic Education, Uttar Pradesh, NL App has transformed the way large-scale, decentralized assessments are conducted. NL App is empowering 4.2 lakh teachers in the state with a standardized tool for quick and accurate assessment of learning levels of 60 lakh students across grades 1-3 in the state.
