In this HubSpot tutorial, we will walk you through how to organize, edit and delete files in HubSpot.
After you've uploaded files to the files tool in HubSpot, you can organize your files with folders. You can also update your file details, such as the file's name, URL, and visibility settings.
To organize your files in folders.
Steps to Follow:
Step 1. In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing; go to files and Templates and click files.
Step 2. From the files dashboard, in the top right, click Create folder.
Step 3. Enter a name for your folder, then click Save.
Step 4. To move a file to a folder, browse through your files or use the search bar at the top to search by file name.
Step 5. Hover over a file and click Actions, then click Move.
Step 6. Select the folder you want to move the file to and click Move.
Step 7. You can also move files in bulk by selecting the checkboxes next to the file names, then clicking Move at the top of the table.
Step 8. To see archived files, click the Filter by dropdown menu and select Archived files.
Step 9. To Filter and search your files.
Step 10. In the top search bar, enter the name of the file you want to locate.
Step 11. You can refine your search results by filtering by file type:
Step 12. Also, you can filter your files by category, click the All types dropdown menu, then select a category.
Step 13. To rename a file:
Step 14. From the files dashboard, hover over a file and click Actions and click Rename.
Step 15. Enter a new name, then click Rename to save your changes.
Step 16. You can also edit the visibility option of a file will adjust whether the URL is public and if search engines index it.
Step 17. Hover over to your File and click Details.
Step 18. Select from the dropdown options whether it should be public, private, non-index, or private.
Step 19. To change the subdomain that your file is hosted on:
Step 20. In the right panel, click the File URL dropdown menu and select one of your connected subdomains.
Step 21. To open the file in your browser, click Open file in a new window.
Step 22. To copy the URL, click Copy URL.
Step 23. To delete the files, select the checkbox next to the files you want to delete, then click move to trash to delete your files.
