Dr ZAHID CHAUHAN, Labour Councillor and deputy mayor of Oldham, has apologised for 'liking' a tweet referring to the former Secretary of Health, SAJID JAVID MP, as a 'coconut'. Apparently, according to Dr CHAUHAN, liking a tweet is not the same as endorsing it and instead it is an acknowledgement. He has referred himself to training.

Though promising a ZERO TOLERANCE approach to racism, KEIR STARMER and his proven racist Labour Party appears to have ignored a complaint against CHAUHAN whilst Oldham Council leader AMANDA CHADDERTON and the town's MPs JIM McMAHON, DEBBIE ABRAHAMS & ANGELA RAYNOR, are all conspicuous by their collective silence.

Now imagine what would have happened if a White politician in a town like Oldham had 'acknowledged' a horrific racist slur such as this towards a member of Oldham's Pakistani community? And yes i use the term 'horrific' to describe the use of the racist slur 'coconut'. Let me explain to you why and having done so, you might want to contact AMANDA CHADDERTON and ask her why she has not condemned the actions of her powerful Kashmiri Councillor or called to have him suspended.
