The Comsat Angels - Eye of the Lens

Описание к видео The Comsat Angels - Eye of the Lens

This is the A Side of ‘The Comsat Angels,’ first new release of 1981.

Fellows commented on this track for the compilation album ‘Enz,’ ‘Can the camera steal your soul? In certain ways, I think so. A horror story of the most basic kind, but not without a little irony, I hope.’ The title comes from a short story by Langdon Jones. Fellows mentions that around this time he had just watched and disliked the Michael Powell film ‘Peeping Tom.’ He also had what he called a ‘super weird experience with a ‘fan’ who’d managed to fall obsessively in love with the person she imagined I was. I ended up feeling quite ‘used’ by the experience.’

This track has been released most recently on Edsel Records deluxe release of 'Sleep No More.'

I do not own any of this music and am only posting it to spread The Comsat Angels' music, if the owners would like this video removed, please contact me.
