Tom and Kiwi are close, but it wasn't always like that
Kiwi was taken from her home before she was really ready, Tom won her over by winning in a race against her and then after one night of trying to converse with the grounded lady Tom lead her back to his home range in the Egyptian desert, looking for unmarked tombs and rare treasures to con off and earn cash.

Kiwi of course didn't care at all, she was quiet and didn't tell anyone her feelings and held in most her anger while she had to live with someone she didn't know or care to know.
Until a few months into this odd relationship she decides that Tom's not entirely awful, and begins to talk again, letting her issues be known by anyone and everyone she met, this was a bit annoying at first especially for tom because he basically chose her as a travel companion, so for a little while they didn't get along very well, but then the two of them met a dragon and kiwi began to loosen up, treat tom with a little more respect and tom started to actually understand kiwi a bit more.
Fast forward a few months and the two are practically best friends, maybe they could be better friends but kiwi still has a bit of a grudge about the whole taking her from her homeland, but she's definitely chilled out and doesn't think about it as often.


I'll write more some other time, its really late right now and i should be in bed...
