Taraz, Kazahstan, Aytiev Street 4K Walk

I keep on walking Taraz streets.
Aytiev Street is a street located in the southeastern part of the city of Taraz. Named after the famous Kyrgyz-Soviet artist, set designer and teacher Gapar Aitevich Aitev. His paintings can be seen in Tretyakov Gallery and Kyrgyz Art Museum.

Significant buildings on this street are Medical Center, Begaly Ata mosque and some luxury banquet halls.
After that we turn to Konayev Street - it is named after Dinmukhamed Konayev, Kazakh Soviet communist politician who served as the First Secretary of the Communist Party of the Kazakh SSR. He put a lot of effort in Almaty modern look formed by post-modernist soviet buildings. During his rule Kazakh SSR became the third largest economy in the Soviet Union so he is well-known and adored among people of Kazakhstan.
On this street one of the best restaurant in the city is located - it is called Abayas, so when you're in Taraz - don't forget to check in.
Also, a bit further there's Konayev Square and The Konaev International Foundation, that was created in 1992 during the lifetime of Dinmukhamed Akhmedovich, who defined the concept of the foundation’s activities. The main task of the foundation is to provide all possible support for the country’s economy, achievements in the social sphere, culture, literature and art. At the same time, based on the activities of Dinmukhamed Konaev, the foundation is carrying out work on the patriotic education of the younger generation. The Zhambyl regional branch of the fund was created in 1996. At the initiative of the foundation members, Ukrainskaya Street in Taraz, on which the foundation’s building is located, was renamed Konaev Street. The archives of the foundation contain books, photographs and exhibits, from which you can learn a lot about the life and work of the great man. There's no filiming allowed inside, so that part is out of our sight.
