Tuning: E A D G B E (Standard tuning)
I recently learned this song with a student of mine Colton. We had so much fun learning it I decided to make a lesson,.
In usual Synyster Gates fashion, the solo is equal parts heartfelt, mixed with technical. There’s a big shred run at the start of the solo, as well 3 pretty fast sweep arpeggios. I would recommend practicing staple arpeggio shapes as well as the 3-note-per-string diatonic modal shapes with a decent bpm, to get this solo sounding good and played at album speed.
