College is expensive. PA school is expensive. Most people use student loans and end up spending years or even decades of their working life paying them off. That does NOT have to be you. It's not what I did. Yes, I graduated from undergrad with close to $50,000 in student debt. I sacrificed years of my life paying these off and missed out on a lot of experiences in my 20's. However, my post-bacc education and physician assistant (PA) school were completely free. How? Well, I used the post-9/11 GI bill, which ended up paying almost $200,000 for tuition, books, fees and living expenses so that I could do my post-bacc and PA school without paying a dime out of my own pocket and graduate completely debt free! This benefit is available to almost everyone who serves in the US military, whether they choose the army, navy, marine corps, chair force (ahem I mean airforce), coast guard, or space force. There are also many other opportunities to get your school paid for which I discuss in a separate video right here ( • How I Went to PA School for FREE and You C... )
