Like Bihar, Special Intensive Revision of Voter List has started in Gujarat too. Now the Election Commission employees involved in this process will start working by going door to door. SIR has also been started in Ahmedabad district. Under this process, mapping of voter list of 2002 and 2025 has been started by booth level officers. In which the serial number of the old and new list will be matched... After the mapping work is completed, the BLO will go door to door for a month and give the forms and take back the filled forms.

બિહારની જેમ ગુજરાતમાં પણ મતદાર યાદીની સ્પેશિયલ ઈન્ટેન્સિવ રિવિઝન એટલે કે ખાસ સઘન ચકાસણી શરૂ થઈ ગઈ છે.. હવે આ પ્રક્રિયા સાથે જોડાયેલા ચૂંટણી પંચના કર્મચારીઓ ઘરે ઘરે જઈને કામગીરી શરૂ કરશે.. અમદાવાદ જિલ્લામાં પણ SIR ની શરૂઆત કરવામાં આવી છે..આ પ્રક્રિયા હેઠળ, બૂથ લેવલ ઓફિસર્સ દ્વારા 2002 અને 2025ની મતદાર યાદીનું મેપિંગ શરૂ કરવામાં આવ્યું છે.જેમાં જૂની અને નવી યાદીના ક્રમાંકને મેચ કરવામાં આવશે... મેપિંગનું કામ પૂર્ણ થયા બાદ BLO એક મહિના સુધી ઘરે-ઘરે જઈને ફોર્મ આપશે અને ભરેલા ફોર્મ પરત લેશે. n18oc_samachar
