Small can often be beautiful, and although Dyseriocrania subpurpurella is indeed small, it's often day-flying and occurs in hundreds around many Oaks in early Spring. But despite its small size, it's clothed in beautiful golden scales and yet, hardly anyone takes a closer look at it.
