First Date Jitters. II One Shot.
Joy Tea Osborne, fifteen years old, passionate, and head-over hills for James Willington Wolfe. The sixteen year old Football player, she had fallen for, in such a short ex. Amount period of time. Dragging her fingers through her dirty blond natural curls, she strolled into the kitchen, plucking a banana from the fruit bowl. Her dad Tony tiredly walked into the kitchen, oblivious of Joy eating a banana behind him, as he opened the fridgerator, taking the milk out, drinking it from the carton. Disgusted, Joy gasped. "Daddy!" she yelped, finishing her banana, throwing it away. He spun around, carton at his lips, a milk mustache on his upper lip. "Joy... Umm.. When you get up?" Throwing her hand on her hip, she laughed. "Since six this morning." Tony's eyes grew big with discovery. "I didn't know you got up that early." Joy let her hand fall to her side, as she walked to her dad, and gave him a daughterly hug. "Good thing I did," she began. "I caught you putting your hand in the cookie jar." Taking the milk from his hands, she put the cap back on, and slid it back onto the top shelf, and shut the door. "Well, I gotta go get ready for Karate." She got on her tip toes, kissed her dads cheek, and enthusiastically skipped between steps towards the bathroom, smiling softly to herself.
Tony shaking his head, he ran his pink tongue over his top lip milk mustache. "Good morning, to you too." Laughing, he walked back to his wife and his bedroom, shutting the door behind him, readying himself for the day. At Joy's Karate lesson, she kept peering out of the window, practicing her upper kicks. In mid air, she kicked, spun, and fell on her bottom. "Grasshopper, you must have balance, and concentration." Sensei lectured, joining his hands together, shutting his eyes. "Yeah, yeah." Joy rolled her eyes, getting to her feet, fixing to try again. Nailing the kick that time, she opened her eyes, and heard the jingle of the bell above the door of the dojo. In came James, strolling towards her, his thumb hooked into his belt loop, smiling at her naturally. "Sensei, can I take a break?" she asked, not breaking eye contact with James. "As you wish." Her instructor answered, folding his legs beneath him, slipping into meditation. James paused infront of Joy, his eyes scanning over her attire. "Nice outfit." he remarked, smirking. Giving a fake, sarcastic laugh, she rolled her eyes. "Thanks, so is yours." She pinched his collar, letting it fall back in place. "I'm gonna cut to the chase.." he paused, moistening his bottom lip. "Grasshopper, you wanna go to dinner with me, and perhaps a movie?" Withdrawn, she arched her eyebrow in question, dragging in a breath to her suddenly airless lungs. "I'd love to ... um ... when, exactly?" James shrugged, hooking his fingers on his shoulders. "Friday, if you'd like." Joy nodded, gathering herself, or atleast, trying. "Friday it is. I'll pick you up at ... eightish? See you then." Spinning on his heel, he left Joy completely breathless by his beauty. The sensei popped an eye open, rubbing his long, white beard. "My, my, Joybee, you're growing up." Joy giggled, crouching down to hug her sensei. "I remember when I was just five years old, and my dad braught me in here to begin fighting, incase some guy tried to rape me, mug me, or do anything I didn't like, to me." Joy reminised, wiping her eyes.
Friday night arrived, Joy was dressed in a purple tank top, and ripped shorts. She straightened her hair, and applied a little bit of eyeliner, and a dab of lipgloss. Spritzing some of her favorite perfume, she glanced at herself one last time, before sitting on the edge of her bed, slipping on socks and her converse. Impaitently waiting downstairs, she glanced at the clock, that seemed to take it's sweet time. Suddenly a knock echoed throughout the room, sending Joy to her feet, hastening to the door, opening it. When she opened the door, he offered his hand, as she obligingly slipped her hand into his. Feeling her tremble, he looked up at her. "Nervous?" she nodded, stepping out, shutting the door behind her. "First Date Jitters." she stated. He chuckled lightly, nodding, drawing her towards his chest, lightly pressing his lips to hers, drawing back. "No worries, angel, you're gonna have a good time."
