The Gordie Howe International Bridge is a major infrastructure project connecting Detroit, Michigan, in the United States to Windsor, Ontario, in Canada. Scheduled to open in 2025, it will provide a new, dedicated crossing over the Detroit River, easing congestion on existing bridges like the Ambassador Bridge and the Detroit-Windsor Tunnel.

Named in honor of Gordie Howe, a legendary hockey player known as "Mr. Hockey," the bridge is expected to significantly improve trade and travel between the two countries. It will feature a modern design with six lanes for vehicle traffic and a pedestrian pathway. The project is a collaboration between the U.S. and Canadian governments and is being developed by the Windsor-Detroit Bridge Authority (WDBA) and Bridging North America (BNA).
