1971 Dodge Challenger (SOLD) at Coyote Classics

Описание к видео 1971 Dodge Challenger (SOLD) at Coyote Classics

It's pretty easy to tell what is and what isn't a Dodge Challenger from a mile away. With a characteristic long, sculpted hood, a wide stance, and aggressively-low bodylines, the Dodge Challenger sticks out like a sore thumb and is a staple of American performance. This specific 1971 Dodge Challenger R/T Tribute is one mean machine, dressed in a black-over-black color combination and combining that menacing aesthetic with a powertrain that's sure to pin you to your seat. Powered by a behemoth of an engine, a massive 440 C.I. V8 breathing through a "Shaker" hood intake and 4-barrel carburetor, this '71 Challenger is here to burn rubber and take names. Torque is put to the pavement through a smooth-shifting 3-speed automatic transmission, which is good for both torching the rear tires and for simple highway cruising. The exterior gloss-black paint reflects like a mirror in the sun after being buffed to a brilliant shine, and that's only the beginning of this Challenger's attractive style. Matte-black R/T stripes run the length of the car, adding a seriously intimidating element to the exterior. The "Shaker" intake rises out of the hood like a pair of flared nostrils ready for a second wind, making sure that nobody's going to want to challenge you at a red light. Additionally, the floors, frame, trunk, and jambs are all rock-solid and in great shape! Opening this Challenger's twin doors reveals a beautiful two-tone white vinyl interior with black trim, complete with comfy bucket seats and a full center console. Options on this intimidating '71 Challenger include power steering, front disc brakes, Hooker headers, a menacing "Shaker" hood intake, a chrome driver's mirror, factory gauges, an updated JVC AM/FM/CD stereo, tinted windows, under-dash aux. gauges, an Autogauge aftermarket tachometer, a heater + defroster, a rear spoiler, hood pins, and a mean-sounding dual exhaust system. Keeping to the period-correct look, the car rides on a sweet set of 15" Cragar Street-Pro wheels over Goodyear Eagle RWL tires for an appearance straight out of 1971! Tribute or not, this '71 Challenger runs and drives like a beast let loose on the street. It definitely won't last long in our showroom, and we want to make sure that you're behind the wheel when it goes.
