BERMUDAGRASS Summer Lawncare | HOC Reset to Recover Your Lawn

Performing a Height of Cut (HOC) reset on your reel low lawn may be needed. This is especially true after a summer vacation. This is how you reset the height of cut on your bermudagrass lawn. This is also referred to as a mid season scalp. What it is not referred to by anyone that knows what they are doing is a Hard Cut. This also works with Bluemuda and Kentucky Bluegrass. In order to do it right, you must break the one-third rule. That is OK, that rule is overrated.
