Cartoon Network and Adult Swim are going through a transitional phase. While Adult Swim is gaining the 7pm timeslot for the first time ever, Cartoon Network loses it. President Michael Ouweleen talks about what this means, and where the two brands will fit in the future of Warner Bros Discovery.

Thanks to the Warner Bros Discovery merger, animation was in a chaotic state throughout 2022. Now, it feels like we're finally at the end of the storm. While Adult Swim has Unicorn: Warriors and Eternal and My Adventures With Superman on the way, Cartoon Network is still giving us new projects like The Amazing World of Gumball reboot, Adventure Time: Fionna and Cake, Invincible Fight Girl, and many more. Cartoon Network's loss in its time on linear TV isn't necessarily a bad thing as long as the content keeps coming!
