Australian Mercenary Fighting For Ukraine Caught By Russian Forces In War Zone

Russia army captured an Australian mercenary who was fighting for Ukraine in Donbas. The captured mercenary who was identified as Oscar Jenkins used to be a teacher before joining Ukrainian army. Jenkins is the 1st Australian national captured by Russia in combat zone. A Viral video released by a Russian journalist on his Telegram channel showed man's hands tied with a grey colored tape. The caption to the video called captured Australian mercenary a 'biologist'.
The man was seen in a military uniform and was being interrogated by Russian forces. Australian officials said that the purported video is under investigation and warned Russia to 'fully adhere' to
international humanitarian laws.
