The thing about Red White and Royal Blue is... Well. I didn't ever expect to make this video, but it turns out there's a widespread rumor that Casey McQuiston's 2019 bestselling romance novel is adapted from McQuiston's alleged Social Network fanfiction from several years ago.

In this video, I go on the ultimate deep dive into the strange world of Social Network RPF-- fanfiction depicting a star-crossed speculative romance between actors Jesse Eisenberg and Andrew Garfield, specifically during the filming and and/or press tour of the 2010 David Fincher film The Social Network-- in order to solve this mystery.
