For many, dinner is the most relaxing time of the day, but for those in charge of putting it on the table, it can be the most stressful.
Figuring out what to make, finding meals that are healthy and devoting the time to making them can be tough.
Aviva Goldfarb began preparing weekly “plans” for evening dining. After sharing her plans with her friends, Goldfarb saw an opportunity to profit from her helpful ideas, and The Six O’Clock Scramble was born.
“The word I hear all the time from my members is ‘life-changing’,” Goldfarb said during her interview for the Small Business Spotlight.
With goals of making parents’ lives easier and bringing families together, the Six O’Clock Scramble provides weekly plans of grocery lists, recipes, and cooking times to its members. The plans are customizable and flexible to any taste or budget. And all meals can be completed in 30 minutes or less.
“It helps keep me organized,” explained Virginia mother and Scramble member Jennifer Edwards.
Goldfarb’s site has over 6,000 subscribers and she has plans to make the process even easier in the future by offering one-click shopping and home delivery.
