Making a Spout from a folded bowl

This is a very easy way of making spouts I discovered recently from this video:    • Teapot Workshop with George Dymesich  

You throw a small bowl and fold it in half, then cut it an angle when it's leather hard.

It functions like spouts made by pulling the wall up and out, but with a bit more control over the shape and it allows you to leave the original wall in place and add a set of filter holes. So it could be useful for small teapots or pitchers that will be used with pieces of ice/fruit that you don't want to pour out.
