Beamng is all about experimenting and testing the limits of the vehicles and mods What I intend to do here is test the limits of these vehicles by pulling a loaded semi trailer with the fifth wheel dolly mod, and using some souped up modded cars trucks, and a van. I wanted to see how the vehicles would handle the stress of all the weight on them. As soon as the message (Clutch overheating) comes up, that means the clutch is done. The trailer needs brakes. That would prevent it from building up momentum and jack knifing, when I slow down or when the clutch burns out. This is also how you blow up a vehicle really fast. You can see when the clutch burns out. The rig will Jack Knife directly following. It's like putting a few hundred thousand miles on a vehicle in a few seconds. Also, the trailer is so heavy that when you reach a certain speed, it tends to pull the vehicle around like a toy, making it very hard to control due to the massive weight difference. A straight axle is probably the best choice for pulling this much weight. Otherwise the vehicle tends to try to fish tail with the weight of the trailer, or grab traction on one tire and not the other, causing the rear end to do a walking like motion. The 5th wheel dolly was hard to get to connect to the semi trailer at times, but I managed by dragging it under the semi trailer with the mouse to connect the fifth wheel.
