It is reality that the Balinese culture was very strong in this village. It could be happened because of the habit of local people there who always keep clean, so the visitors who come to the place will be so embarrassed if they have to contaminate this clean place. In addition, in this place there are rules from the villagers to people who throw garbage carelessly, so that the tourists are very reluctant to dispose of waste generated, especially from consumer goods that they brought.

Regarding to its cleaning culture, then in 2016, Penglipuran Village Bali has been crowned as the third position of the cleanest villages in the world by one of the International magazine.
