Where can you find good STL files to print miniatures and terrain for wargaming? While sci-fi and fantasy options abound, 3D printing files for historical wargaming can be harder to find. In part three of this series, Steve shares all of his favorite sources, including both free and paid STL files. He'll tell you what you can expect to find and show you examples of files he's printed from the various sources. All sources in the video are also linked below.

http://www.thingiverse.com -- Your first stop when searching for 3D models of just about anything.
http://www.myminifactory.com -- Mostly paid files and a smaller collection than thingiverse.
http://www.cgtrader.com -- Mostly paid files and a smaller collection than thingiverse.
http://www.wargamevault.com -- It's helpful to "follow your favorites" on this site, selecting .STL as your format.
http://www.shapeways.com -- Hard to find just downloadable files here, but it can be done.
http://www.kickstarter.com -- There's always something on here for 3D printing, and sometimes it's even historical!
http://www.printablescenery.com -- Paid files, but excellent ones covering a variety of historical eras. Their sailing ships are terrific.
http://www.z1design.co.uk -- Reasonably priced mid-late 20th century urban terrain.
http://www.haylandterrain.com -- Great accessories, bits and ground scatter for a variety of eras and genres.
http://www.3dalienworlds.com -- Not a historical name, but some terrific files for use in feudal Japanese gaming.
http://www.3dprintterrain.de -- Lots of files in lots of eras. Slicing some files can be a bit fiddly, but overall very good quality.
