Patriots Point | USS Laffey

Описание к видео Patriots Point | USS Laffey

Welcome to I Love RV Life. While at Patriot's Point just outside of Charleston, SC, we toured a number of ships. This is the USS Laffey, famous for surviving a monumental WWII Japanese attack and although badly damaged, survived four bombs and six kamikaze crashes. The ship had a distinguished career commissioned in 1944 serving in WWII, the Korean War, and starting in 1956, the Cold War as a submarine hunter-killer until the ship was decommissioned in 1975.

There are numerous RV sites from seasoned full-timers to wide ranging forums. Joan and I want to share a different perspective of RV living – where we started, where we’ve been and what we’ve done to make our RV life more enjoyable. We’ll take you from purchase to trips to those changes and additions to make our RV home. So welcome, stay awhile, share and we hope we’ll see you soon.
