Neier’s powerful 1979 book about the case, "Defending My Enemy," remains a classic defense of that core freedom, augmenting the extraordinary educational impact of the case and the national conversation that it inspired.

Neier and Nadine Strossen, New York Law School Professor Emerita, Former President of the ACLU, and Senior Fellow with FIRE, share their perspectives on the Skokie case and the landmark book about it.
