On todays episode we head out to see Steve and his classic HT Holden Kingswood that is the ultimate sleeper on the road. Steve brought this car from the original one owner 24 years ago, a little old lady in Harvey. A small country town south of Perth. Since then Steve has nut and bolt restored the car and he made a few improvements along the way.

From the outside it presents as standard except for it being lowered. The paint colour is Cashmere white. The wheels are standard HQ rims with original HT Holden hubcaps. It has the original sun visor and venetian blinds on the back window. The only thing added is a ratchet shifter and some gauges.

Then we come to under the bonnet. Originally a 186 it now boasts a 383 Chev motor backed up by a fully manualised turbo 350 gearbox and a 9 inch diff. It has a Wilwood brake upgrade, 2 and a half exhaust system from Pacemaker extractors. and it sounds great. The interior is Twilight Blue vinyl with the Keltic style pressed insert. The rubber mats were changed out for carpet and very clean gauges not to overpower the dash.

This car is the ultimate sleeper. It is just like a petrol head build from back in the day. To look at it looks like a standard car that's been lowered. Then when you hear it start up you realise the truth. Thanks for tuning in.
