This video is part of a personal art project to read all poems from what is, in my humble opinion, the greatest collection of poetry of all time: I AM A SENSATION (1971, Goldberg and Wright). This book came into my hands when I was a child. Its collage of poetry, samplings from works of literature, and quotes from great intellectuals, all gathered from the entire breadth of history, juxtaposed with haunting black white images of art, photography, and comic books left a profound effect on my young mind. I have returned to this collection many years later, taking each of the 322 poems or writings in turn and recorded each. These are all my own interpretations for each piece of writing. This stands as a labor of love. None of these 322 readings have been monetized. I have attempted to credit any additional sampling of sounds or music that accompany a particular reading.
