Portable Steel Plate Marking Machine

Marking steel plate is easy with portable marking systems from Pannier. Dot peen marking machines use a heavy marking pin to stamp information onto steel plate.

The system is programmed with the AC500 touchscreen controller. Data can be entered several ways:

1) Type the data to be marked.
2) Scan data from a bar code.
3) Automatically send data from a computer or PLC.
4) Retrieve data from a lookup table on the controller.
5) Read data from an Excel spreadsheet on a connected PC.

Once the data is programmed, the marking machine does the rest. Simply place the machine on the plate to be marked - magnets hold it in place during marking - and press the start button. The pin marks the message automatically and error-free!

Dot peen marking machines can mark text, logos, and 2D codes in nearly any size or orientation. For marking plate that will be painted afterward, Pannier offers a Deep Marker for extra-deep marking.
