To do so, I’m going to use a free web app, known as Motion. You can find a link to this app here: https://www.kapwing.com/motion

To convert a still image to animated GIF, go to this web app in your browser, and click the Get Started button.

This shows you a popup to upload your photo. It also has an option to enter a URL to fetch an image from the web.

You can add a photo using either of these methods, and this app will convert that to animated GIF, with default settings.

It uses geometrical primitives in the GIF, which you can customize with the given options, and personalize the output.

You can change the style of geometrical shapes, and select the desired style for output. To do that, first, set the desired option, and then upload the image file.

Once you upload the image, this app takes some time to process it, and then, gives you the animated GIF in the output.

From there, you can save the GIF from the right-click context menu.

So, this way, you can get a stunning moving GIF from a still image.
