This video was actually taken on February 10 and some of these R188s (including converted R142A cars) were stored in the East 180th St Yard/Unionport Yard. I didn't upload this 9 months ago because I had so many old videos I still needed to upload. There is currently a 11-car R188 set running on the 7 line for it's 30 day revenue test. The cars are 7811-7821 and they are doing a really swell job. Soon, I will try to capture the R188 7 Train on camera because I know all you guys out there want to see an R188 video also from me. These trains are really awesome and they made a couple of improvements to the interior of the train and even the announcer on this train has the same voice like the R143/R160 train announcers which is another change. The 7 sign inside is sometimes amber (like the R143/R160 display of the E, J, etc.) and red (like the R142 display of the 2 train).
