Pulut Hitam or Black Glutinous Rice dessert is one of my favs. And it's so easy to make. It can be served hot, cold or at room temperature. The traditional way is to serve it with a spoonful of coconut cream. The modern twist is to serve it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. My son likes it both with coconut cream and vanilla ice cream.

Ingredients:
6 Tbsp black glutinous rice
30g sugar
80g guala melaka (palm sugar)
100ml coconut milk and/or a scoop of vanilla ice cream a
3 pandan leaves
1,500ml water
4 tsp cornflour + 4 Tbsp water
