line+ studio is an innovative architectural practice founded by chief architects Fanhao Meng and Peidong Zhu, with offices in Hangzhou, Shanghai, and Hong Kong.
The name “line+” encapsulates the studio’s core philosophy: “line” represents the disciplinary boundary of architecture, while “+” signifies a deliberate expansion beyond conventional limits. Taking architectural design as a foundation and “spatial empowerment” as a core strategy, line+ explores how space can respond to pressing urban and rural issues. Through this approach, the studio seeks to unlock and renew the value of architecture across social, economic, and cultural dimensions.
In recent years, line+ has gained wide recognition for a series of high-quality projects, attracting global media attention and receiving numerous prestigious awards.
