Tomorrow is forecast to be mostly sunny and dry, under stifling heat. An oppressive heat wave will settle in, over a wide swath of South Korea. Temperatures are set to rise above the 30-degree Celsius mark. Seoul will be around 3 degrees higher than the seasonal average, at 31 degrees. A searing heatwave for parts of the south will bring hotter spells. For Gwangju, daytime conditions will be baking hot at 33. Extreme heat could lead to heat-related illnesses, so please take extra precautions.

This year’s monsoon season is getting ready to start. The first round of monsoon rain will begin from Jeju Island this coming Sunday. By next Monday and Tuesday, the entire nation will be under rainy spells. Make sure to be prepared in advance for any potential flood damage, as continuous, heavy rain is expected.

Sunny spells will dominate nationwide. Tomorrow, Seoul and Daegu will start off at 20 degrees.

Sweltering conditions are expected for the daytime. Daytime highs in Seoul will get up to 31. Chuncheon 30. Busan and Jeju 27.

Until this weekend, conditions will stay scorching hot in Seoul with highs of 31 degrees. The extreme heat will subside next week.
