After two weeks of court testing—including match play, ball machine drills, and side-by-side comparisons—I’ve got some real thoughts to share about this hybrid-style paddle.
While it’s not my personal favourite, it’s quickly become the most popular paddle among 3.5–3.75 players at my club.

First Impressions
The Vapor Power is marketed as part of the “Power Series,” but in reality, it leans heavily into control and forgiveness. It features a hybrid shape with a generous sweet spot, a plush feel on contact, and surprising touch on resets and drops.
Coming from an elongated paddle background (and after falling in love with the Pegasus Power), I found the Vapor’s overall design to be more compact and finesse-driven. Out of the box, it felt lightweight and responsive, but needed a bit of weight added to unlock its full potential.
Control over Raw Power
Despite the name, this is not the most powerful paddle in the 11Six24 lineup. In fact, it's the least powerful of the three paddles in the Power Series (compared to the Pegasus and Hurache-X). That said, it shines in the soft game—drops, dinks, resets, and controlled flicks off speed-ups all feel incredibly natural.
If you're the type of player who struggles to keep aggressive paddles like the JOOLA Mod from sending balls long, you’re going to love the control and forgiveness this one offers.
Power on Demand – But With Limits
I found the drive game slightly inconsistent—without added weight, the ball would either sail long or fall short into the midcourt. Once I placed weight on the top corners, the plow-through improved, and the sweet spot expanded.
It still doesn’t have the finishing power of the Pegasus or Hurache, but there’s enough power on tap for well-timed shots, especially in doubles play.
At the net, it’s extremely stable. Blocking and hand battles felt confident and connected. The lower twist weight helps improve hand speed, and the 5.75" handle gives plenty of room for two-handed backhands.
Ideal Player Profile
This paddle is made for players who value control and consistency over raw force. If you’re a:
3.5–3.75 level player
Transitioning from a too-hot paddle
Looking for a one-paddle-fits-all solution then the Vapor Power is going to feel like a major upgrade.
Interestingly, some players at my club who used the JOOLA Mod TA said they instantly preferred the Vapor—and placed orders after one session. They felt it gave them back control they didn’t realize they were missing.
Singles vs. Doubles
In singles, I struggled to consistently generate depth and speed, which is crucial when you're pinned to the baseline. Because of that, I’d lean toward using this paddle for doubles only, where the extra control and finesse are far more valuable.
In doubles, I found myself gravitating toward the Vapor during long rallies and hand exchanges, where it really shines.
Final Verdict
While the Vapor Power isn’t my personal go-to, it fills a very important gap in the paddle market—a hybrid that doesn’t overpromise on power but delivers elite-level control, forgiveness, and feel.
For players who want just enough pop, a consistent reset game, and a forgiving touch at the net, this paddle hits the mark.
✅ Pros:
Excellent control and feel
Forgiving sweet spot (especially when weighted)
Great for resets, dinks, and drops
Ideal for 3.5–3.75 level players
More affordable than many competitors
❌ Cons:
Lowest power of the “Power Series”
Inconsistent depth on drives unless modified
Not ideal for aggressive singles play
