• 𝗗𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗥𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗹𝗮 - Rangala is a small village about 15km off Theldeniya and 40 km off Kandy. Traveling from Kandy, you could go upto Rangala, and another 6km from Rangala to Thangappuwa town. The hotel will provide the transportation upon a special request.
As the name stands you never know when you are gonna get invaded by the mist. It is a Cottage amidst the outskirts of Knuckles range, where you can set yourself free from the hectic lifestyle. Environmentally-friendly, this cottage is made to blend in with nature so you can get the most out of it. Only thing you hear is birds chirping and water springs. You can explore the natural landscape on one of many hiking trails and natural pools close by. Love the view towards the mountain range and the food is amazing too.
At the right time of year, visitors can capture the milky way galaxy!

You don't have to worry about finding it if you are booking the cottage, because they will guide you to the natural pool. Crystal clear water calmly flowing through two boulders creates this inviting pool. You can also see the bottom covered in pebbles and rocks, and the pool is surrounded by trees. The water is cold in the evening, therefore it is recommended to be visited early after noon! If you are visiting this amazing natural pool, we humbly request you to keep it clean!
