In today's video, Dylan and I are visiting the Disneyland Resort! We attempted to unlock Chewie Mode on the Millenium Falcon Ride, Smugglers Run. This attraction is located within Galaxy's Edge at Disneyland Park.

Chewie mode is a brand new unlock that allows Chewbacca to guide you through your Smuggler's Run flight instead of Hondo Ohnaka. This is a very tough task and requires a great deal of speed and precision by your entire ride group.

How to unlock Chewbacca Mode on Smuggler's Run at Disney:

First, buckle in.

Pilots: Push your lever to one extreme and hold in place. (Either completely up and down or left and right) While holding the lever in place, hit your flashing button to activate.

Gunners: Hold one of the white buttons next to the score screen. While holding the white button, tap your flashing activation button.

Engineers: Hold one of the white buttons next to the score screen, While holding the white button, tap your flashing activation button.

That's it! Well... we wish it were that easy. You also have to be quick and precise as this seems to also be a mini race against the team member who is checking your seatbelt. You must do this before they activate the ride for flight.

Let us know in the comments below if you have any luck trying to activate chewie mode at Disneyland or Disney World. This is an incredible Easter Egg and I love that Smugglers Run seems to be evolving! You will also most likely need a crew of 6 who are also on board with you to help you unlock this ride easter egg.
