In this video we will cover web scraping and how to do it in literally seconds so you can start adding this extra data to your reports. We will specifically be focusing on web scraping in Power BI. The example I use in this video will be Amazon and in particular a search for R and Data Science. This is a complete walk through tutorial on web scraping with Power BI.

What we will cover:
1. Using search on the Amazon website
2. Getting the URL for the search.
3. Making sure Power BI can access the root domain of the website (www.amazon.com)
4. Accessing the search URL through a Web connection.
5. Using the Add Tables By Using Examples button.
6. Explanation of what you need to do if you do not see this button (upgrade to newer version of
Power BI else you will not be able to do any web scraping).
7. Selecting the title, author, price and other columns you want.
8. Getting the data into a table that you can immediately do analysis and reporting on.
