This August, after a 3 day long road trip, we spent 6 days in Colorado. Our first destination was Cheyenne Canon State Park in Manitou Springs, Colorado. After some rain, we spent the afternoon at the Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. Heading into the evening, we drove towards the Denver area to spend the night. First stop on our second day was Red Rocks in Morrison. Then in the afternoon we hiked in Platte Canyon in Littleton. Our third day consisted of visiting Golden Gate Canyon State Park and spending the evening in Golden, Colorado. Our fourth day we hiked through Eldorado Springs for over 10 miles. Later we made a visit to Clements Park where there is the Columbine Memorial. We spent the morning in Boulder on our fourth day, hiking through the Boulder Falls park and took a walk through Pearl Street Mall in the evening. On our final day, we hiked another 10 miles through Staunton State Park and got ready for the two days road trip back to our home in Florida.
