Work 1 - Principles of Systems
This work refers to the ideas of six scientists who have shaped the foundation of the systems approach. Arthur Koestler proposed the concept of holarchies, where each part (holon) is simultaneously a whole and an element of a larger structure. Ludwig von Bertalanffy laid the foundation for the general theory of systems, emphasizing the interconnection of components and integrity. Norbert Wiener became the founder of cybernetics, studying the principles of control and feedback. Ilya Prigogine dealt with self-organization and chaos theory in non-equilibrium conditions, revealing the dynamics of systemic changes. Fritjof Capra combined scientific and philosophical principles, emphasizing the role of ecology and spirituality. Gregory Bateson explored patterns of interaction in communication and nature, developing the theory of double bind.
Thanks to their ideas, the principles of systemic nature (awareness of the impact of actions on the environment), integrity (seeking balance), self-organization (flexible adaptation), communication (effective relationships), and application in various fields (searching for creative solutions) were formed. Koestler’s holarchies additionally show that a part of the system does not lose autonomy, helping to better understand the nature of complex interactions and find innovative approaches.
Work 2. “Loss of Freedom in the Digital World”
This work reflects the problem of the lack of real ownership of devices and software, despite full payment. Gadgets remain under strict control of manufacturers (e.g., Apple), restricting repairs and modifications, thereby increasing electronic waste and creating dependence on official services. Enforced licensing agreements force users to agree to all terms, and often they cannot be disputed or partially rejected—otherwise, access to the program or service is terminated. This results in legal and social dependence: corporations set vague terms, and people have no alternatives, leading to the growth of digital inequality.
Limiting consumer rights, displacing independent developers, vulnerability of personal data, and reducing innovation are direct consequences of such a model. However, there are solutions: developing legislation on the “right to repair,” increasing user literacy, expanding open platforms, and establishing dialogue with manufacturers. All these are aimed at returning people’s freedom of choice and control over digital devices.
Work 2. Ikigai 5-D
Ikigai is a concept from Japanese culture that means “a reason for being.” It is traditionally illustrated by four intersecting circles, representing passion, talent, societal contribution, and earning potential. However, life encompasses more than this model suggests, including additional aspects such as health, relationships, education, spirituality, creativity, ecology, and social activism. These elements are interconnected and influence each other, creating a complex mosaic of life goals and meanings. The artwork, featuring a complex arrangement of multicolored spheres, symbolizes this idea, showcasing the diversity of life aspects and their interconnections. Each intersection point reflects a unique life aspect, and instead of one center, Ikigai presents multiple points of meaning, emphasizing the complexity and multifaceted nature of human existence.

Данная работа отсылает к идеям шести учёных, сформировавших фундамент системного подхода. Артур Кестлер предложил концепцию холархий, где каждая часть (холон) одновременно является целым и элементом более крупной структуры. Людвиг фон Берталанфи заложил основу общей теории систем, подчёркивая взаимосвязь компонентов и целостность. Норберт Винер стал родоначальником кибернетики, изучая принципы управления и обратной связи. Илья Пригожин занимался самоорганизацией и теорией хаоса в неравновесных условиях, раскрывая динамику системных изменений. Фритжоф Капра объединил научное и философское начала, акцентировав роль экологии и духовности. Грегори Бейтсон исследовал паттерны взаимодействия в коммуникации и природе, разрабатывая теорию двойной связи.
Благодаря их идеям сформировались принципы системности (осознание воздействия действий на окружение), целостности (поиск баланса), самоорганизации (гибкая адаптация), коммуникации (эффективные отношения) и применения в разных сферах (поиск креативных решений). Холархии Кестлера дополнительно показывают, что часть системы не теряет автономию, помогая глубже понять природу комплексных взаимодействий и находить инновационные подходы.

Эта работа отражает проблему отсутствия реального владения устройствами и ПО, несмотря на полную оплату. Гаджеты остаются под строгим контролем производителей (например, Apple), ограничивающих ремонт и модификации, тем самым увеличивая электронные отходы и создавая зависимость от сервисов
